"Baptisttown & Prohibition" Exhibition Poster Design for the Evansville African American History Museum
Initial brainstorms for color, style, and layout.
Digital illustrations of the two individuals responsible for setting off the Evansville Race Riot in 1903. The goal was to create more balanced portraits, while using some of the colors in the color palette.
To avoid any possibility of white-washing Robert Lee (right), the final portraits are in black and white with a background color from the established palette.

Original news clippings were filtered through the selected color-scheme palette. Imperfections were mostly kept to maintain visual authenticity of aged clips.
Completed Poster
Flyer for exhibition was created based on the specifications provided by the museum.
